most recently High School Scholarships

April's Brad Wait Memorial Scholarship 'On-line' Auction generated just over $6,000.00.

2025 Scholarship application criteria:

  1. Completed application form
  2. Proof of post grad acceptance
  3. Deadline to hand in application is April 30, 2025
  4. Brief letter on how you fit the following criteria:

Grade 12 graduating student who has experienced significant hardship, including but not limited to:

*death of parent or sibling

*illness

*child of an immigrant family

*child of single parent

*extreme hardship during childhood or teen years

The Brad Wait Foundation

The Brad Wait Foundation is a non-profit society that was founded in August 2017 in memory Bradley Bryan Wait who lost his 31 month battle with brain cancer on 15 July 2017 at the age of 42. Brad was an avid and passionate golfer who was actively involved in a number of golfing initiatives in BC, including the Canaccord's Big Brothers Annual Charity Golf Tournament held in Whistler. 

The Brad Wait Foundation Memorial Golf Tournament is a tribute to his memory and his love of golf.
